Product information
What is L-lysine? L-lysine is one of the 9 essential amino acids, which means that our body cannot produce this amino acid itself. We ingest L-lysine solely through our food. L-lysine serves as a building block for proteins in the body and is also required for the formation of the semi-essential amino acid L-carnitine.
L-lysine in our food L-lysine is mainly found in animal foods such as meat, fish, dairy products, and eggs. Legumes, like soybeans and lentils, are also good sources. Other plant products usually provide little L-lysine. Important information, especially for vegetarians and vegans!
L-lysine capsules L-Lysine from Allergy Research Group® provides L-Lysine in the physiologically active free L-form so that the body can absorb it directly. Each capsule contains 500 mg of pure L-lysine. Each pack provides 100 vegetarian capsules. Supplementing with L-lysine is particularly popular with athletes.
